Ceequence signs 3-year contract with UK’s Allianz Cornhill for Business Continuity Servicesl
Chennai, 15 April 2006 – Ceequence has signed a three-year agreement with Allianz Cornhill, one of the UK’s leading general insurers and part of the global Allianz group, to provide Business Continuity Services. Under the agreement, Ceequence will provide complete back-up to Allianz Cornhill’s Indian operations from Ceequence’s 250-seat Disaster Recovery Centre in Chennai, India.
Ceequence’s technology and infrastructure have been designed to ensure seamless transition with minimal disruption to Allianz Cornhill’s business. “The systems and processes will enable Allianz Cornhill to transition to Ceequence’s facility within 48 hours,” said Ravi Patwari, Ceequence’s Director of Technology. The continuity service provides the required computer systems, peripherals, network connectivity and communications equipment. In addition, Ceequence team will also be responsible for 24x7 technical and administration support during business continuity operations.
Ceequence’s business continuity service is an effective and efficient means of mitigating operational risks for captive, multinational BPOs located in India. The capital investment is relatively low as compared with a dedicated disaster recovery facility and yet provides access to a fully functional, state-of-the-art technology, infrastructure and skilled team.

Our aim this fiscal year is to sign up more clients primarily in the BFSI services sector having a presence in India. This area has been untapped for several years and the importance of disaster recovery sites is increasing with more and more critical operations moving to India.” said Rajesh Somasundaram, Director of Outsourcing with Ceequence. Allianz Cornhill selected Ceequence after a formal tendering process that was based on an evaluation of company and team capabilities.
